We have been blessed a dynamic, unique group of teachers who love the Lord and who love our children! Meet our 2014-2015 children's ministry staff and Bible study teachers below. 
Junghwa Lee - Children's Ministry Coordinator

주님의 어린이들을 위한 귀한 일을 감당하게 하심에 감사합니다. 저는 한국 전통 악기인 가야금 연주자로서, 한국 음악을 널리 알리며, 제 악기를 통해 하나님을 찬양하며 사랑을 나눌 수 있는 주님의 사람이기를 기도합니다.

아동부와의 4년동안 어린이들을 향한 하나님의 귀한 계획을 기대하며 섬기고 있습니다.

하나님 안에서 서로 알아가며 즐겁고 행복하기를 소망합니다.

 

I am so grateful to be able to serve God's precious children. I am a Gayageum musician, which is a traditional Korean, folk instrument. I have a passion to spread traditional Korean music across the world and to use my giftings as a musician to spread God's love and redemptive message to others.

 

I have been with the Children's Ministry for three years now and I continue to serve knowing that God has a special plan and purpose for each and every child that goes through our ministry. 

 

Through God's grace and joy, I look forward to meeting each of you and getting to know you and your wonderful children!

EunJung Choi (preschool-k)

My name is Shelly Choi and I have been a preschool teacher for KMUMC for a long time. When I first started teaching, I really didn't know if I was teaching the kids properly but as time went on I feel as though God has been guiding me to teach them in a way that the kids not only enjoy and have fun but also in a way that they can truly understand God more. I am currently the owner of a business in Cincinnati called "The Korea House". And in my free time I enjoy watching sports with my family, listening to music, and eating good food!

I was born in Seoul and I am 21 years old. I have been coming to this church since 2001 and I have been teaching in the Children's Ministry since 2010. I love to babysit, tutor, and help people in general. My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, and singing. I look forward to meeting you!

Mirha Kang (gr. 4-6 B)

I was born and raised in the Cincinnati area. I graduated from University of Cincinnati and currently work at Allergy & Asthma Associates as a medical assistant. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, watching tennis, working out, and watching korean dramas!  I've been attending this church since I was a child and I'm so thankful to God that I'm able to fully serve him by encouraging and leading our kids alongside a great group of teachers.  I am looking forward to getting to know the kids at our church and experience their love and compassion for The Lord.
